Controller and scope
Omnilude, operated by Jongmin Kim, runs Omnilude Tools and handles privacy questions and data-subject requests. Contact omnilude@gmail.com for privacy matters.
This policy applies to the Omnilude Tools web service. Linked third-party sites and services apply their own policies. The effective date is August 10, 2026.
Information processed and how it is collected
When you access the service, IP address, request time and path, browser, device and operating-system information, language, screen information, cookies or similar identifiers, and error or security records may be generated automatically by servers, network infrastructure, or analytics tools.
IP lookup processes an IP address. YouTube tools process the video identifier extracted from the URL you enter and an optional language. Feedback may process the title, body, category, related route identifier, votes, and a derived participant identifier used to prevent abuse.
Public use does not require an account, and Tools does not require your name, email address, or phone number. If you email us, your address and message are processed so we can reply.
Information processed in your browser
Inputs and outputs for many text, image, and calculation utilities are processed in your browser during ordinary use. Tool settings, favorites, work state, or some inputs may be stored in cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB.
IP lookup, YouTube metadata and transcripts, feedback, and features that explicitly use external communication are not local-only. Values needed for the request are sent to Omnilude servers or the relevant external provider.
Purposes
Information is processed as needed to deliver requested tools, retain language, theme, favorites, and other settings, handle feedback and inquiries, analyze use and improve experience, provide and measure advertising, diagnose faults, prevent abuse, secure the service, and meet legal obligations.
Where regional law requires optional consent, the service uses the applicable provider consent signal or browser control for that processing.
Retention and deletion
Tool data and settings stored in your browser may remain on that device until you delete the item or site data or reset browser storage. Omnilude cannot remotely recover local data.
Server access, error and security records, feedback, and inquiry records are retained only as needed for their purpose and security response, then deleted or de-identified. Records may be kept separately where law, a dispute, or an incident requires it.
Information processed by external tools such as Google and Microsoft follows each provider's retention policy and your settings.
When consent is withdrawn, the service sends denial signals to loaded Google and Clarity services, deletes detectable _ga, _gcl_, _clck, _clsk, __gads, __gpi, and __eoi cookie families, and stops loading optional tags afterward. Cookies on third-party domains or marked HttpOnly cannot be removed directly by this site and must be cleared through browser or provider controls.
External providers and international processing
Google may process connection and device data, usage events, advertising data, and video identifiers for Analytics, Tag Manager, AdSense, and YouTube metadata or transcripts. Microsoft may process page-rendering and interaction events through Clarity.
When you run IP lookup, the IP address is sent to ipapi (Kloudend) for location information. If YouTube metadata lookup fails, the video identifier may be sent to noembed. These providers may process information on servers outside Korea, including in the United States, when the feature request is transmitted.
Omnilude does not sell personal information. Unless another legal basis applies, information is not disclosed to third parties beyond the processing needed to provide the selected feature. Review the current public policies of Google, Microsoft, ipapi, and noembed for provider-specific controls.
Google Tag Manager is a tag-delivery mechanism, not a separate analytics purpose. Depending on production configuration, its container may deploy Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, or Google AdSense tags, so the container's tags, triggers, and consent conditions must match the provider list in this policy. Google-certified CMP and IAB TCF requirements for serving AdSense ads to users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland remain a separate operational requirement; this site's own choice notice is not represented as a certified CMP.
Your rights and controls
You may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or withdraw consent for personal information by emailing omnilude@gmail.com. We may verify your identity and any legal retention requirement before responding.
You can delete cookies and site data and adjust advertising and analytics controls in your browser or provider settings. Do not place personal or sensitive information in public feedback; if you already did, request deletion.
You can reopen ‘Optional cookie settings’ in the footer at any time to allow or withdraw consent. Refusal or withdrawal does not restrict core tools; it disables only optional analytics and advertising processing.
Safeguards
Omnilude limits processing to what is needed and applies reasonable controls such as transport protection, access restrictions, request validation, rate limiting, and review of error and security records.
On shared devices, manage site data and downloads yourself. Do not enter passwords, authentication tokens, government identifiers, financial details, medical information, or other sensitive material into tools or feedback.
Policy changes and contact
If purposes, features, providers, or law change, this policy may be updated. Material changes and their effective date will be announced through the service.
